We'll guide you every step of the process, helping you select the perfect cabinet and worktop styles and finishes from trusted, long-term suppliers, plus your appliances and all other elements of interior design.
Here's how the process works...
Initial Consultation
Visit our Stratford-upon-Avon showroom or enquire over the phone to book an initial consultation. Our designer, Ellie, will listen to your thoughts and explore how we can shape a kitchen around you and your home.
Home Visit & Site Survey
We visit your home or site to take measurements and assess your space, discussing your ideas and requirements in greater depth.
Concept Design & 3D Visualisation
We create a tailored layout and present a 3D visual of your kitchen, allowing you to clearly see the design and make the right decisions with confidence.
Design Development & Technical Planning
With your guidance, we finalise materials, cabinetry, appliances and finishes, sharing technical drawings with you and preparing for installation.
Project Management & Installation
Once approved, we work with our trusted manufacturers, installers and tradespeople, carefully managing your journey towards your dream kitchen.
Completion & Handover
Following a thorough quality check, we walk you through your finished kitchen, ensuring you are happy with every detail of your new kitchen.
What’s included in our installation process?
Our fully managed installation service typically includes removal and disposal of your existing kitchen, preparation works such as plastering and tiling and upgrades to plumbing, electrics and gas connections carried out by certified professionals where required.
We supply and fit a wide range of worktops, including wood, granite, stone and Corian, install integrated or freestanding appliances and can complete tiling if needed. We leave your new kitchen clean, clear and ready to use.

Each January, we provide a complimentary Service Check for customers who purchased a kitchen from us 12–15 months earlier. This includes adjustments to doors and drawers to ensure your kitchen is still perfect.

Excellent service from enquiry through to completion of the kitchen, Ellie was great in helping design and price the kitchen even with my many questions, and Jamie was great once on site helping to resolve issues that only came apparent after the old kitchen and floor were removed. We found Dexters a very professional service. Lots of time was given to planning the kitchen, including flooring and general decoration. We also had building work which was very well organised. Dexters kept us updated on when people were coming and everything went smoothly. I would certainly recommend them.

The Kitchens by Dexter team have been a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Ellie started the process with her designs. We changed our minds a lot as we didn’t want to go with a traditional theme. I chose to have special doors painted and Ellie arranged for us to have a sample that we could live with to get used to it before we came to a final decision. We also had samples of our handles to help come to a final decision on those too. It’s a big commitment and there are lots of decisions to make to get what you would like, Ellie made this as easy as it could be.
The fitting team were very efficient, clearing out the old kitchen in a day. It is not a quick process but Jamie was a great Project Manager and had skilled contractors for each process. We had everything done from gas removal, new lighting, new flooring and of course the oven and hob together with the units. All was done without making too much of a mess - they took away the rubbish as we didn’t have room for a skip. Took about 4 weeks and by the end I had a small list of tweaks that Jamie took on board and were all done as requested. Ellie came over for the final sign off and to take some photos.
5 months in, we are very pleased with our kitchen and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend KBD.

I'm very pleased with my new kitchen. The services provided by Ellie in designing and suggesting amendments etc., project management by Jamie and fitting by Guy were all excellent, not forgetting also the electrician, plasterer and painter, who all did great work. The end result is brilliant and I would recommend KBD without hesitation.

Fantastic service from Jamie and all his team at Dexters. We're delighted with our kitchen and the service was first rate. Right through from design to supplying and fitting.
